General terms and conditions (last amended 11-1-2023)

By ordering from the Optima Formula webshop, you agree to our General Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Statement. You also enter an agreement directly with optimaformula.nl upon receipt of your order. These conditions are part of the agreement between the customer and the company.

The general terms and conditions of Optima Formula are simple and clear, from which we only deviate to accommodate the customer. By placing an order or product it is indicated that you agree with these conditions. Optimaformula.nl reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time.

Placing an order

By placing an order via the website, you declare that:

• you are legally entitled to enter into binding contracts, or a purchase agreement;  
• you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, permission from your parent or guardian is required to place orders on this website; 
• the products are for your own personal use only;  
• you have access to the website in a language that you understand/manage and that you are aware that it is your responsibility to determine that it is permitted by law in your country of residence to use our services. 

If products have been prescribed and/or delivered to you, it is your responsibility to check that the products delivered are the correct ones. If in doubt, please contact Optima Formula. Do not use delivered products if they are not the prescribed/recommended products or if the products are damaged upon delivery.

Read all information on the packaging and in the leaflet carefully before use. If you use products at a later time, check that the products have not passed their expiration date.

Delivery time of an order

Incoming orders will be dispatched as soon as possible. Delivery times are approximate and are based on availability and usual delivery times. In practice, this almost always means shipment within one working day. All orders are sent by courier. You are responsible for all import duties, levies and taxes applicable in your country. You confirm that all products ordered are for personal use only.

Free shipping for the Netherlands.

Cancel an order

If you wish to return an item, you have 14 days to notify us. After this notification, the product is expected on the return address within 14 days. If possible in the original shipping packaging and the product should be unopened / unused. The costs of returning the items are for the customer, unless otherwise agreed. 
Incorrect deliveries can be returned free of charge. After receipt of the returned order we will refund the purchase amount within 7 days.

Payment information

By providing billing and payment information, you declare that you are authorized to use this information and authorize us to receive full payment for the products of your order, plus any related delivery charges and / or any other costs payable to us under these terms and conditions. Payment is possible via Ideal or credit card, or as otherwise indicated on the website.
 

Privacy and security

When you make a purchase, the transaction is always processed through a secure connection. Your payment details will not be passed on to the servers of Optima Formula and will therefore not be stored. Optima Formula sends your address information to suppliers and shipping partners for the completion of a confirmed order.
If you have previously used the website, a password is required to access your data. You are fully responsible for:

• keeping your password secret; 
• not allowing another person to use your password to place orders via the website; 
• costs, damages or losses resulting from not keeping your password secret;  
• timely written notification that your password must be deactivated due to security problems.

We will not be liable for any damages related to theft of your password, disclosure of your password or your permission to allow any other person or entity to access and use the Website using your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your password.
